A service desk is a social tool – people use it to provide a great service experience to other people. At Samanage, our goal is to help you provide the best service to your people, and it starts by putting the people in the center.
Introducing User Profiles:
- User pictures will be retrieved from online identity providers such as google apps — users can update their own profile pictures.
- User name + picture will be displayed anywhere a user is available – index list, incident requester/assignee, asset owner etc.
- User tooltips – when hovering over any user name in the app, a user tooltip will show the key user’s details, and have a link to the complete user profile.
- User profiles – detailed, rich user profiles including everything about the user and any information related to the user in the app.
- Header and menus – we’ll be updating the menu/header to include a link to the user profile and make it easy for users to modify their information.
We will be rolling out user profile related enhancements over the next few months – stay tuned!
