The last feature we are introducing in 2011 is custom fields, the ability to add your own fields to the different modules across the application.
Custom fields allows you to further tailor SAManage to your needs and internal processes and provides greater flexibility when using the service.
To get started, select setup -> custom fields:
Click New Custom Field to add a new field to any module:
Select the field time from the available field options and provide any available values or defaults. Custom fields are displayed on the request module and behave like any other field in the system: select them in the views, use them in the queries and reports, and search for a field’s value like you would do with any other fields.
