For the second consecutive year, our team at Samanage is participating in the Triangle Hops for Hope event this fall. We’ve teamed up with Barrel Culture Brewing and Blending in Durham to create a one-of-a-kind beer, which we’ll bring to the Hops for Hope festival in Raleigh on September 22. Our goal is to use our new found talents in brewing and blending to raise as much money as we can for Children’s Flight of Hope, a nonprofit organization that provides air transportation for children to access specialized medical care.
Though we can’t reveal our concoction just yet, we can tell you that Barrel Culture specializes in sour beer, and as you can see, neither the brewery team nor the Samanage team lack in creativity when it comes to adding flavor.
While we enjoyed an educational experience in blending, creating flavor, and fermentation, we want to emphasize the goal of this event: raise money for children who need special medical attention.
Children’s Flight of Hope is headquartered in Morrisville, NC but serves children and families from around the world. When a child needs specialized medical care far from home, the logistical and financial burden of travel might keep it out of reach. We’re taking part in this event to contribute to an organization that paid for 854 flights for children in need during the 2017 calendar year. If you’d like to support our Samanage team, you can donate directly on our page. If you’re local, we encourage you to buy a ticket to the festival!
