One of the reasons I love working at Samanage is the opportunity to contribute to social good in our communities. For us, that means partnering with charitable organizations and our local schools to be a positive influence on young people.
Today, a few members of our Samanage team celebrated Earth Day with Hope Charter Leadership Academy in Raleigh. We worked shoulder-to-shoulder with these kids (K-5) while talking about the importance of caring for our precious planet. While we’re all busy at our jobs, it’s nice to take some time (even once per quarter) to step outside of the office and contribute to our schools and communities.
Though our blog is focused on connecting employees to their service desk, we were thrilled to help connect these kids to their environment, so we wanted to share some photos. Their eyes sparkled with excitement when they talked about tending to their community garden this summer! Happy Earth Day!
We share many of our social good initiatives on our Facebook page. Check it out!
